WNT PRO’S TOP 8 LEAD LINE UP FOR PREMIER LEAGUE POOL IN CONNECTICUT
Premier League Pool will return March 18-25 from US 1 Billiards, West Haven, Connecticut, with the World Nineball Tour’s (WNT) top eight professionals confirmed to compete for the $100,000 prize fund.
In an exciting move for the WNT, the elite league format will be held in the United States for the first time, pitting 16 of the best against each other in a close quarters race to 5 league format.
Defending Premier League Pool and world champion Francisco Sanchez Ruiz leads a star-studded line-up as number one on the WNT Rankings. Five-time US Open winner Shane Van Boening and recent Mosconi Cup debutant Fedor Gorst will also feature on home soil.
Winner of the 46th US Open Pool Championship, Ko Ping Chung, returns to the States to mark his first appearance in the competition, with Hanoi Open champion Jayson Shaw also competing near his residence of West Haven.
Mosconi Cup MVP Joshua Filler returns, with 2022 Premier League Pool champion Albin Ouschan also set to fight to reclaim the trophy. Two-time World Cup of Pool winner Mario He will make his debut in the competition, with an additional eight wild cards set to make up the rest of the field.
The final eight names will be announced in the coming weeks, with fans encouraged to keep their eyes peeled across Matchroom Pool’s social channels on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok.

SUNDAY CLASSIC SHOOTOUT EVENT 1

What a great start to our new series. Event 1 brought 24 players to battle it out at @ldn.snooker Tooting in a Double Elimination to the last 8.
Some very surprising results early in the day saw some big hitters move to the losers bracket. Oliver Lawrence fell victim to Tomasz Jedlecki from round 2 but went from strength to strength in the losers bracket to qualify for the knockout stages.
Gabriel also recovered to qualify from the losers bracket after a tough defeat against Rod in the 3rd round.
Both players found form in the last 8 with Oliver making quick wins in the quarters and semi. Gabriel takes a lead in a tense final but Oliver brings it back to hill-hill.
In the final rack, Gabriel has the break and steals the win with an audacious break and run!

New tour launches with 8 stops in 2024, finals in November
Predator Group and the Junior International Championships are proud to announce a new partnership which brings the launch of the Predator Junior American Series, a dedicated tour for America’s next generation of billiards talent.
The Predator Junior American Series will feature eight stops in 2024, with five divisions of boys and girls competition in 14 & under (formerly 13 & under), 18 & under, 20 & under age groups (formerly ‘Pro-Am’). The Junior American Series will then conclude in November, with details of location and date of the Final event to be revealed in due course.
The launch of the Junior American Series is a progression of Ra Hanna’s Junior International Championships, which have supported boys and girls winners in multiple divisions with funding to compete in the BEF Junior National Championships and the Predator WPA World Junior Championships over the last three years.
The Series will give junior players from across America the opportunity to improve and develop their game in tournament conditions. It will help promote the growth of the sport across the United States while preparing the next generation of players for the professional level of the sport.

CUE SPORTS INDUSTRY giants, Predator has assumed title sponsorship of
the Women’s Euro Tour for the 2024 season. Henceforth, the tour will be
known as the Predator Women’s Euro Tour and all stops on the 2024
calendar will be known as the Predator Women’s (Host Venue) Open.
The immediate benefits for Europe’s increasingly strong battery of
female players will be additional added money – it will now total 4500
Euro at each event, as well as an additional event each season, bringing
the total in line with the men’s tour with six tournaments. With the
entry fee increased to 100 Euros and the added prize fund of 4500 Euros,
there will be purses exceeding 8000 Euro for the first time in the
history of the Women's Euro Tour.
Similarly, to the men’s tour, for 2024 and beyond, the Predator Women’s
Euro Tour will be split between three 9 ball events and three 10 ball
tournaments, the results of which will form the basis of the Women’s
Euro Tour rankings.

Sponsor of the Women's Euro Tour in 2024. Our commitment to women's
sports aligns with our values of empowerment, excellence, and
