Hi,
One of the biggest reasons I couldn't play 9-Ball to a decent level in the UK, or at least squeeze as much as I could out of my ability, was practising on American tables that were the slower Riley's tables and then moving to Simonis clothed tighter tables at tourneys was just too much. I was beat 9-2 - 9-5 off anyone decent, the adjustments were just too much.
My house doesn't have space for a table so I'm left to play in clubs. Based in the North East, is there anywhere that has tables similar to that used in Matchroom tournaments? I've no expectation to play in tournaments anymore but would enjoy the challenge on similar conditions.
