This might seem like a stupid question but if I wanted to play 40 hours a week to become a pro player the hourly table rate would make this sport more expensive than Golf, how do I go about getting reduced or free table time?
I assume pro players get free table time, even aspiring players or am I completely wrong about this and they indeed pay £1000 a month or roughly £10k a year to get good at pool?
Is it assumed by the pool rooms across the world that serious pool players all get free table time, I always thought if a pro player walked into a random pool room to shoot some pool that they never pay for table time.

Lots of options really.
Lots of clubs are happy to offer weekly or monthly rates at very attractive prices - especially if you're willing to stick to off-peak times.

If money is an issue you can find some great deals on used tables. Finding the space is more likely to be the issue in the UK though.

I remember paying £100 for a single day's play at three Rileys clubs in London. Clapham, Victoria, and I can't remember the third club I went to that day.
Phew!

Dave can you get cues that are not listed on your site? I'm looking at purchasing a Schon or Pechauer in due time.
