The Pro Shop ran the 10-Ball "Break and Dish" competition at the 2016 UK OPEN this weekend at 9pm on Saturday 23 July 2016 in Telford.
We started the prize fund with the £982 rolled over from the previous running at the first event of the GB9 season - raffle tickets sales st this event added to that amount and built the total to a thrilling £1201.00
The three wining tickets were drawn by 3 independent volunteers and the players who would be gong for the £120-per-ball cash prize were as follows...
1st - 34 - Ryan O'Neill
2nd - 370 - Martyn Taylor
3rd - 286 - Mike Leviek
Ryan smashed the 10-Ball pack apart and a magnificent 3 balls dropped into pockets, giving him and terrific £360 start to his run - he continued in good form potting a very straightforward 2 ball, followed by two more balls, making his total potential prize to a tremendous £720.
The next balls was the six, and although a thin cut, was perfectly makeable, but he, perhaps wisely, turned it down and took the £720 with a very pleased look on his face!
Congratulations Ryan!

Neither Martin or Mike made any progress with their subsequent attempts to capture a share of the remaining £480 - so that will roll over to the next event!
