Quick question though of where middle table computers are and where to put your chalk, talc and break cue?? Do they also have to stand up all the time they are playing?

Hi Billiardbloke, yes, please come along - I'll begin packing away early, so it might not be on display but you will still be able to buy anything that's still in stock until I leave. I have the full selection of Kamui Tips available, and a nice range of shapers - and I'll pack the tips last just for you.

Yes, huge congrats to Phil. And also to Ralf for getting to the final of such a high standard event.

quality win Phil specially under the pressure at 10 -8 down against such a player in Ralf. some great dishes in this final and on table 1 throughout the weekend from what i saw and apparently the quality was on all 16 tables proving that gb9 is indeed a tough if not the toughest national tour. congrats to all the players that took part and to Lee and his crew for what looks to be an ever improving tour long may it continue. Hope to come and play in an event later this year and meet up with a few old faces and some new ones but until then congratulations to gb9 and everyone involved

Does anyone know any challenge results from the quarter finals onwards, please ? Seems to be a problem with the GB9 website, I'd been looking forward to finding out some of the results all day, but been busy at work..

Yes congrats Phil good shooting! Nice venue better than Daventry I thought. Organisation was top notch as usual...well done the gb9 team! On the downside heard alot of complaints about the new format but you cant please everyone in my eyes.

Arfan Dad won the final of the Challenge, beating Italy's Bruno Muratore. I have photos of this coming soon!

Well done to Phil Burford this weekend, I know first hand how well he played as he beat me in the Winners side. The straight 6 B&R's was amazing. The new hotel in my opinion was a lot more modern than Daventry, higher quality beds and better food. The Pro Shop looked fantastic great layout with lots of equipment on display. Great job done by GB9. a few scheduling issues but first attempt at new format it was never going to be smooth sailing, what is good is that the only problems i saw with the event are things that can be changed or tweaked which is great news. Now its our job as pool players and ambassadors for the sport to do our bit by promoting the GB9 and making sure we make every effort to help get the 160 players for event 2 as then there will be nothing to complain about. If GB9 can get the 160 the rest will follow, Prize money, Sponsors maybe even TV. [ This message was edited by: wildman147 on 2013-02-25 07:23 ]
