Dear Pro9,
Whats your advice on Jump Cues?
I currently have a Mezz Break/Jump Cue which is fine for long jumps. What would you suggest using, for shorter jump shots.

I guess this is the short answer... http://www.pro9.co.uk/html/theproshop/main.php?P=cat&C=111...That's our selection of break and jump cues! I think the longer answer is that while all jump cues should be able to handle short hops, there will always be some that are better than others, and it's obvious that a single purpose jump cue should perform better than a 2 in 1 compromise. In my opinion, if you're actually looking for something very specialised to jump very close impeding balls, you can't beat this one... It's the "Dr Popper Jump Cue" and it's really easy to hop accurately hop of anything close, and it's available to buy here... http://www.pro9.co.uk/html/theproshop/main.php?P=product&pid=CUES0101I hope this helps. ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2013-01-22 11:40 ]

In my opinion the best jump cue is the predator air. I've had one since Santa Pro 9 shop got me one I believe they stopped making them though, which is a shame. I recently ordered a couple of Poison jump cues for our table on the rig (sorry Dave wasn't allowed to order from the pro shop) those are neat jumpers as well.

If you catch The Pro Shop at an event this year (we're attending the GB9 and T9B events in 2013) you can try the cues we have in stock... Alternatively, try as many of your friends jump cues to determine what type you like best - then buy something like that.

Will you be at any BWPPA events Big Dave? If not I'm going to the T9B event at Barnsley in May
