Have to say that although there were 6 of us in Brighton last night, it was a good bunch of people and we all just got on with it and had a laugh.
Nice to finally play some semi-competitive pool again (even if i did get stuffed)

Shock, horror! Still no refund to the value of £34.95 even though it was sent first class about a week ago? No reply to my PM either...

Hi guys
before anyone gets confused the 7.30 start time is for sheps bush only!!
as for Mr Muse, sorry but i dont control the royal mail, instead of bitching why not just ask via pm for confirmation of postage??. i'll cancel your cheque and issue another if you like or can even paypal if you wish? but i am fast running out of patience with your sarcasm.
Thanks for the great messages from the players last couple of nights, looking forward to building on it, 3 more clubs today phoned with players, managers starting to realise how easy it is!.

@ Agentsoap, how many people have you got in your club? And have the results been sent to results @ gb9leagues . info ? (spaced the email address out to prevent too much spam coming in)

Hi all, I’d like to take the opportunity to bring you up to speed as to where the leagues are and what progress is being made. Firstly though, let me address the question from agentsoap. The updating part of the website was to be based around the new software I have had written to run the leagues, pretty much automatically. Our software guy has had some trouble integrating it with the web host and as such we have as yet not been able to update that area of the site. In the meantime I have made provision for results to be displayed as a national table for the minute (club and regional to follow). The reason there is not currently any table there is that we are still awaiting some results from clubs to come in. Managers have been contacted and reminded and the table should be up before the week is out. (agentsoap – note we started the league two weeks ago, tonight is the 3rd night). Moving on to updating you, the leagues have faced many substantial issues over the last 3 months. Through negotiation with members/ clubs/ Rileys and Independents’, several key issues were addressed and I am hopeful we are now at the other side of these problems. We started the leagues 2 weeks ago and are having new applications from players and clubs continually. Whilst it’s far from the start that I had hoped for, it has at least begun. When talking to Club managers the focus is on the continuing development of recruiting new members weekly. Some clubs have people wishing to play but still need a few more to make it work. Where this is the case, I have been in direct contact with the club and Howard from Rileys, to see if we can help generate more interest. The format we wished to start in had to be changed, however as the year progresses I hope to have a strong enough membership base to try out the original idea of Team play. This, and other ideas though will be at the sole discretion of our members, as it is their vote that counts. One of the areas we have had to shelve until the start of year 2, is the County structure. I feel that it is more prudent at the moment to concentrate on the development of the leagues. Sometimes it is hard to communicate all the events that go on behind the scenes and the co-ordination of clubs across the country is not easy. However I would like to take the opportunity to assure you that there is continual development of the leagues, week by week. It is not possible though to update everyone daily. Should you have a specific question or comment please feel free to contact me at bigtone@gb9leagues.info . Regards Tone

Hey BT,
Cheers for the update, im sure its not easy trying to sort everything out, especially after the carry on at the start.....
Mate you mentioned above about the results / leagues going on the national part of the website, do you know when this may be at all???
The Lads are keen to see how the other clubs are doing???
cheers Paddy (Sunderland Rileys)
