Are these tips playing tips or break tips? I'm debating using a hard tip but I don't want to use a break tip to play with obviously.
I have one on an old playing cue but it sounds really pingy like a break cue, but they arent advertised as breaker tips.
Can anyone help? Cheers

It's a playing tip. Having said that, Asian Water Buffalo spend a lot of their time wallowing and have thick hide, and you can get much harder versions than the one we stock - these hard ones make superb real leather break cue tips. Ours are Talisman Medium WB and suitable for playing cues. ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-11-05 12:54 ]

Aren't Le Pro hard tips too? If you want a hard tip that plays great why not go for a crushed elk that's been pre-soaked in milk. I can take you one to GB9 if you want and no doubt Paul can put it on for you.

I always found Talisman WB tips to be too hard. Personally, I think the Talisman Pro tips are excellent. And miles cheaper than other laminated tips that seem to be more popular. Just my thoughts. Best wishes thecardman

I agree about Talisman Pro they are good for the price I love them. Only problem is their consistency. This soft v hard debate had me thinking, hence why maybe I should switch to hard tips
