Just looking for some feedback. Like all advertising they never mention negatives and I don't understand all the technology that makes it what it is.
So does anybody use these? Do they work well with butts from other manufacturers?

I had one last year, then I sold the cue and the shaft when I moved back to the UK.
It gives more solid hit with more deflection than the Predator (314), so you can do more with the cue ball. The tip-diameter I had was 12.25mm.
The shaft is hollow behind the tip to bring the balance point forward, the cavity is filled with some sort of expanding foam ( I think it gives a more solid feel).
I only used it on McDermott Butt, so can't help you on that bit.
I was told by a McDermott user that the I-2 shaft is better, if youhave a bit more money.
I hope it helps.

For the price the G Core offers the best value for money compared to the high end shafts. Once you pay top dollar then I guess it is a matter of what works best for the individual. Custom shafts are also excellent and they don't cost anywhere near to that of the top brand names. The ONLY thing to do is to try 'em all out and use what is best for you. Take your time, there's no rush is there? All in all. Opinions are like 'A' Holes... Everyone's got one (including me ! ) That's all I have to say on the matter. Good hunting to you... J
