I have a question about the call shot rule in 10 ball, obviously if you call a ball and a pocket and you dont pot it in that pocket then it is end of visit. Does that mean then you can intentionally call the wrong pocket, pot a ball in the wrong pocket and lay a snooker knowing that it will be the other players shot next. Basically like the safety rule in 8 ball.

If a ball goes in the wrong pocket then the incoming player has the option to play the shot or pass the table back.
I think this is right but I could be wrong. Also I think you have to call a safety too in 10-ball.

Danny is sort of right. if you pot a ball in the wrong pocket or you pot a ball when no pocket has been called, it is end of visit. the incoming player then has the option of accepting the table as it is or passing back for you to play again.
there is no necessity in calling safety shots.

Is it re-spotted? 9.9 Spotting Balls If the ten ball is pocketed on a foul a push out or during the break shot, or without calling it, or accidentally in the wrong pocket, or driven off the table, it is spotted. (See 1.4 Spotting Balls.) No other object ball is ever spotted.

what happens if say you call the 4 ball and make it in the correct pocket, but you also pot the 10 ball on the same shot
