I'm not complaing about the bumping, I'm just saying if someone's not interested in this thread then why bump it?

I'm wiring the money to Darkside tomorrow, i'm organising the bank details at the moment. Once he has received payment, i'm sure he'll notify everyone on here.

Pooliscool.............not backing out

just for the record im in two minds about pooliscool.. on the pool films thread he first put up a michael jackson post, and he did beat it in the pool room, then pankers which is known as partners so he is either clever or stupid or lucky.
all that aside if he plays for 5k he should be good at either snooker or pool and if he hadnt posted "mines a strongbow" and instead mines a jd, i would have said it could be the nightrider. i will hold my reservations for a day!

Well the money is being transferred to an independant party (Darkside) who is well known in the pool world.

I'm not asking for him to transfer the money into an annonymous account, I agree, that would be kinda stupid!

This really isn't the way to go about organising a reasonably sized pool event. Would you think Appleton, Peach and co would do it this way. Whether or not Emesy decides to go ahead the fact that Pooliscool is doing this anonomously is out of order.

Why not stop all the bull about i'll reveal who I am when he agrees to the match etc and just tell everyone who you are. It's becoming quite pathetic to be honest. If your a top player then great. If your just an average Joe then fine. But all this anonomous posting is a joke. Do us all a favour and reveal. Who knows you might actually be taken seriously if you do.

And for the record I know emesy reasonably well. We shared rooms at GB9 for a couple of events last year and he's a decent guy. He's also a decent player and lost 9-8 to Gray in the first round of Main at Solihull last year.

I agree with you, but he had a bit of a pop at me so I said if you want to play me I'd happily play him, and he accepted the challenge.

I'd rather keep myself to myself and not play a challenge match, but when someone says that I can't play, then I offer to play them, then they agree, then they back down, what am I supposed to do?

He more or less created this situation himself.

Please people don't try to bully him into playing. If he doesn't want to play that's fine, just admit it but if he does want to play, then I'm ready.
