Jayson is also listed under Scotland rather than UK for the Eurotour as well.

Oh dear! Darren Appleton might be snowed in at this rate - apparently it's a serious possibility if they poopie the airports... They closed Manchester and Leeds airports today. He's supposed to fly from Liverpool tomorrow and it's still coming down strong!!! Good luck Dazza! (Edit: That's "shut" the airports! LOL ) [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-01-05 16:29 ]

Apparently it's quite wet and rainy in Lloret del Mar at the moment - I'm receiving photos and press releases later so if anyone hears anything before then let me know. It seems the crew are in a tent of some kind and it's leaking? It's all a bit garbled at the moment! Raj Hundal IS out there at least, I've asked him to post here and let us know what's going on, but I'm not sure if he will be able to get internet. ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-01-07 10:10 ]

Doesn't work for me either and the scores are old. Jayson lost 8-7 about an hour or so ago it the screen is showing 3-3. He then got two byes so needs to win 2 matches to qualify. All the English guys are not competing, as Jayson would have been playing Darren if he was just getting put thru to losers section and arriving late. Jayson doesn't play until tomorrow now. All matches at the Predator World Tour event in Lloret del Mar, Spain have now been postponed until tomorrow morning due to heavy rain. The playing venue is a rectangular tent-like structure and the roof has started leaking... So badly that the TV table has had to be recovered and tournament organisers have decided to call it a day and start afresh tomorrow morning. The general consensus seems to be that the tournament is fantastic, the rules are good, no soft breaking etc, the hotel is of course fabulous too, with Jacuzzi's in many rooms - there are even practice tables set up in the hotel for the players. In fact, the tables are playing better than previously in Spain - the tent is strange to play in, but that's the same for everyone, but the playing venue is "awful" as it is cold and the roof is leaking quite badly now. The new and revised tournament schedule will be released at 8pm this evening, and Pro9 are hoping to receive photos and reports of the days results shortly. ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-01-07 18:20 ]

Big Daves post is correct, he also asked me to give some feedback on the event as i am the only guy who arrived from the UK besides Jason i think. All is perfect here besides the issue with the venue, but it is the same for all and we just have to deal with it. Hotel is awesome, Added money which is nice in this industry and rare, no soft breaking so im not sure why Corey is here??lol.......anyway on a more important note i got to see the blueprints for this gorgeous hotel's new plans which are fully approved and construction began sometime ago. This Hotel will become the biggest Casino Hotel in Europe before next years event here and will be an amazing event im sure. This Predator World Tour is great, im quite sure next event is in Brasil, Sao Paulo....Next year we will see stops in great places like Hawaii and India also, the money will improve and Network Coverage will only grow. If you havent played on this tour yet i would suggest try and make one of the events at least if possible. I won my first match 8-4 against a Eurotour player from Croatia, realy tall guy(cant remeber the name, sorry!!).....i play Mika next, the Iceman who is on fire and has been for a while now. But i been practicing and working out hard recently and feel better than ever so hes got himself a tough game just like anyone would have playing me right now.Anyway I will try to keep you guys and girls updated on whats happening here. Apparently the weather was getting worse this morning and tears were appearing in the canvas... One player said they think the event might not continue if it carries on like this. Still no official press release or photos... I'll see if I can get some "unofficial" ones so you can see what the tent looks like from inside.
