No, nor Yannick either!  I got this in an email from my friend Ted Lerner who is out there. I'm sure he won't mind me posting it here, exclusively for Pro9'ers, as it sheds a little light on the matter... "We're getting set for this week's World Ten Ball here in Manila. It promises to be a knock down drag out brawl with some very serious pool going down. I was at the qualifiers the other night at Star paper, which has to be the greatest place for pool players in the world. 44 Brunswick tables all free to players. Including free drinks, free chalk, free baby powder, free snacks. it is literally pool paradise.
Watched English 8-ball champion Mick Hill make an incredible run in one of the qualifiers and stormed all the way to the final after winning five straight matches. Then he got blown out in the final to Taiwan's Pei Wei Chang. He was pretty devastated having gotten that close then falling, and even more so the next day when he got bounced out in the first match. I'm not sure how he did today. But tomorrow is the last day.
