Apologies in advance if this is posted in the wrong thread.
I'm hoping to enter a few tornements this year & next on the EPA pool U.K. I've just recently had my cloth changed to a Strachan Super Pro & must say it's so quick you've got to have played on one to understand the speed of this cloth.
It's like a sheet of ice, so my question is, will this cloth help at all in practice ready for comps or do You advise have the cloth refitted again with a 6811 the same ones they play with in comps.
My main worry is because it's so quick what negatives will this bring.
Thank you

No worries... Welcome to the Pro9 forums... I've moved this to the UK 8 Ball forum section, so hopefully someone will answer soon. ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor

i thought that cloth was a speed cloth with no nap and hence you won't find that in epa comps
at yarmouth they will have brand new cloths that start off playing similar but will slow down over the weekend
i think the ipa tour used speed cloth but i'm not sure if they are in the future i hope they do (and the epa too) as it would make the game more consistent from table to table and club to club
