I moved it to the 9-Ball forum - as people use this 8-Ball forum as an English Pool forum, and this is an American Pool topic which we call 9-Ball.

Sorry if this caused any confusion. I can see why you might have thought it had been deleted, but this is not the case.

Perhaps I will rename the 8-Ball forum as UK8Ball - what do you think?

Incidentally, the chap you bought the cue off is only a moderator of one of the forums here, and would not have been able to moderate anything in the 8-Ball or 9-Ball forums - and he is totally trustworthy too, so there's no need to worry)... My apologies again for causing any confusion.

It is hard to tell 100% just from a pic but IMO I'm 99.5% certain that it will just be an aesthetic issue as you put it. Every shaft will be unique because of the way that it's made. Mine has lots of little variations in it.
