Hi All,

Just a quick post to say myself and Danny Byrne are once again going to be setting up the UK8 Ball Live stream, this Saturday 2nd Feb 2013, at Morley International Snooker Centre.

http://www.ustream.tv/channel/morley-international-pool

Matches:

2PM: Liam Waterworth v Jamie Yates - Min £600 Per Man, Race to 15

7PM: Chris Morton v Rick Needham - Min £200 Per Man, Race to 10

If anyone would like to join in on the cash action at Morley International then let me know! The players make the rules! date, time, race, rules... Everything! We just stream it for you free of charge :-)

Hope a few of you guys can tune in :)

Mark

Andy, if this in any way looks like an MMTV copy, I can assure u it's not meant to. The lads can play any night of the week, no minimum amount. No winner stays on spots etc. myself and Mark are simply trying to attract new players and supporters to what we think is a great club, while at the same time offering the chance to play some matches. I'm sure u understand that the club needs business

MMTV 8ball has and will continue to be a success for u, and I have enjoyed watching some of the games u have had. I don't come on with sarcastic comments or anything, I respect what u have done with the white rose, the tables are great and it's a great place to play.....I enter your tournaments when I can too. I can't speak for mark, but all I'm asking is u respect our club as I do yours?

Its great to be able to see regular money matches streamed but i can only see this as a bad thing for MMTV as its the same but is more flexable, with less rules e.g supporters ect and with these being so close to each other perhaps there isnt room for them both. Is MMTV 9ball still going? if so when is the next date?

its a tough one as we are all good people fighting for the same end result which is UK cuesports being alot more popular than it is at the moment. Its great to see new things happening and new people getting involved in the organising as we know how tough it is to not just run a few events but to keep events successful and get them established. Its very hard tho with the amount of UK players not to tread on each others toes, i hope you manage to both get by as both has great features just wish they were both more 9ball than English however thats just my preference.

Fair enough Andy, i just hope you realise that in no way am i trying to take business away from you, im simply trying todrum up business for the venue where i practice and play from.

The way MMTV is ran and streamed is very good, i applaud that. You have the rights, fair enough. But were not trying to be MMTV so you have nothing to worry about there.

BMW, Wildman, thanks for the positive feedback lads. Simply giving the players somewhere else to play, letting them know that our club is still a very good club, and hopefully we can get it back to the way it was years ago when the worlds best all wanted to play there

Well played to all players yesterday.

Jamie beat Liam 15-11 from 11-9 down.

Chris Morton stormed out of the blocks and raced into a 6-0 lead. Chris managed to hold on to the lead to win 11-4.

Cheers to all players and supporters. Was a great days pool!

Agreed mark, very good standard in both games. 1st game Liam deserves a lot of credit, Jamie stormed out of the blocks not missing a ball in the first 5 frames. Liam pegged him back with some awesome finishes of his own....nip and tuck, could have one either way.

Rick played poorly, Chris played well and punished all mistakes.

Look forward to he next games, whenever they are :)
