IT'S A HUGE SUCCESS!!!Yesterday's test of our new LIVE SCORING system was a total smash hit! Thanks to the terrific response, we've actually used our entire month's bandwidth allocation ...IN JUST ONE DAY!!! In addition to photos, interviews, and the final match report, today we'll be providing half time and full time results from each round at Solihull... Soon to be renamed "Soliheaven" after the terrific effort shown by Rileys staff and management for their level of service and refurbishing their tables!

Well, what can I say, what a terrific event - Major congratulations to Daryl and Mark! The LIVE SCORING was exciting and fun, and we've seen the potential for the software, so you'll be seeing more of that - with new and improved features next time too! The most mentioned fact of the tournament was the stratospheric level of talent in attendance - a real who's who of 8 ball aficionados. I've got some great photos that I'm really proud of, and brief but superb interviews with each of the finalists after the final, details of the flyer competition, and also who won the $1,000 cue raffle. I'll also be able to show you what odds were on offer by the on-site bookmaker before the tournament for the outright winner and each way bets, and also the odds for two finalists before the final. I hope you'll agree that's all worth waiting for! I travel home at 7am tomorrow morning and should arrive around 2pm, so expect things to start appearing then. In the meantime, why not join in the congratulations to Neil Raybone for winning, Nick van den Berg, for running up, Predator, Aramith, Simonis and especially Rileys (all our sponsors) for reclothijng the tables and making us feel very welcome, and Daryl and Mark for another superb event. This is certainly becoming on of the most prestigious 8 ball tours in Europe.
