hi, my son has finally started taking 8 ball pool seriously & wondered if any one had any ideas on the best way to practice. whats best to concentrate on & any exercise routines, how long to spend on each routine. Our local rileys(mansfield, notts) is being altered, less Snooker tables & more american pool tables with 3 english pool tables, new flat screen tele's all round sides & bar type tables every so often with high stools. Should be really good when done. Thanks for any help

EasyPoolTutor seem to have an endless supply of drills and advice - keep scrolling down when you visit this link... http://www.easypooltutor.com/articles.html... Yeah, keep scrolling... Millions of drills eh? I think you need to vary it because practicing alone can get a little tiresome, but definitely focus on things that need to be better, shots you dislike or don't use much because you lack confidence in them. Anyone got any favourites?

Thanks, What a brill website, seems to cover every thing he needs to know & should keep him busy for long long time. i like your idea on varying it & focusing on shots he dislikes etc. He's got a decent amount of skill but try's to many flash shots with loads of side, admittedly he gets most but the ones he misses cost him, Hopefully he will learn. Thanks once again.
