Hi all,
Just got my table installed, looking for practice partners for upcoming 8-ball comps.
Living in Tiptree, Essex.
If you can make it to Essex for a game, please drop me a line.

You're definitely "jammy" if you've got your own table Jason, tell us more about your table... What size is it and what cloth have you got?

And how much did it cost, and who fitted it when it arrived, and how big is the room it's in?

Me especially... just house hunting now for exactly that reason. I reckon you need min 6m x 4.5m to be able to play comfortably on a 9 footer but bigger would obviously make room for comfy chairs and a fridge full of beer, both of which are essential accessories when I'm playing anyone.

Oops, I hit return half way through!
I was saying he used Keith Davis (Steve's brother) and he was charged a couple of hundred to install it on site. I guess the cost would spiral a bit if it were to be transported and lifted up stairs etc etc.

I ordered a BCE Atlantic (looks very similar to a gold crown) from gamestables4u.com They charged £1500 ans ent 2 guys up from BCE to install on-site included in the price. It's in my newly converted double garage which is 18ft 2" x 16ft - perfect for the 9ft table. I paid for BCE speedball cloth, which runs well. Is a touch heavier than the simonis, but pretty good. BCE charge £2500 for the same table on their site!!!! Now - anyone up for a game in Essex????

18ft sounds very close to the minimum length. Do you have enough room to play from the top and bottom rails?
