Ive just come off the phone with the regional manager for Rileys Solihull, and i can confirm to you that ALL the tables will be in tip top condition for our next event which will be held there in a few weeks time (14/15 OCT) I thought it would be best to post this as there were a few of you that were worried about the condition of the tables (and the big window) So i reall think this will be the best EPT yet coz this club is superbly set out with loads of space and seating, plus the tables are laid in such a manner that its easy to view all tables from a spectators point of view. I dont know about you, but i cant wait!! -----------------

Yes, the windows AND tables are covered for sure!!! I think this club has the potential to be the best club in the land, and the regional manager is doing everything in his power to make sure it is ready and in tip top condition for the EPT event. Space, viewing, seating, great layout, superb parking, hotel less than half mile away.......perfect! -----------------

Can we ban Daz Appleton from entering the raffle so everyone else can have a chance.

............And to add again............. Anyone who was at the last EPT in harrow would have seen Joe, the cue doctor with his lathe and cue repair/re-tipping equipment.......... .........Well he will be at ALL EPT events from now on, so anyone who needs their cues re-tipping, Shafts smoothing, new ferruls, new joints, or anything else doing, the EPT is the place to get it done in front of your own eyes!!! -----------------

I had my cue cleaned and re-tipped in Harrow and could not have been happier. Joe took his time to do the job properly rather than rushing through cue after cue to make as much money as possible - he is very professional in his work. He also gave me good advice on how to maintain my cue between EPT events when I will get him to touch it up again. My cue has never been so smooth and I would recommend it to everyone who is at the next EPT event,

Shame Shir, next time hey? Joe is the business when it comes to cue care........as alan24 has said already, he takes is time with every cue no matter what the job.......he loves doing what he does and doesnt do it to make loads of cash......it was me who asked him if he would offer his professional services at our events, and he said he would be delighted to ........ top bloke too!! -----------------
