So what does everyone think? Any big surprises?
The top 4 have not surprised me at all because I've always thought these players were the benchmark for the rest of our boys. can't wait to see how they do in the KOTH.
Raj has surprised me because I have to admit I thought he would not do anywhere near so well at 8 ball as he does at 9 ball because of his patterns but he's right up there with the best. I haven't watched many of his matches but I guess it's his shot making that's key for him so if he sorts the patterns out like Daz, Mick etc. he could be a real threat - just look at his break and run figures!
Ben Davies and Jayson Shaw have both been revelations in their first events.

LOL, I wont laugh at your laziness Riggers. I spent all day yesterday making up tournament sheets for our weekly comp! I was supposed to be working, but if the boss doesnt know, then who cares!
Back to the subject, excellent work, and nice stats!
It doesnt surprise me to see Daz Appleton at the top of the tree, likewise for Daryl, but surprised Pat Holtz isnt up there with them as he is a class act.
Jimmy White is obviously there for a laugh as he has not done great at all!
Last word goes to Jayson Shaw. I know he is a Scot and I would be biased towards him, but he has proved he can mix it with them and even had the Yanks buzzing with his lighting play and massive raw talent. I just hope he has done enough to secure his 2007 tour card.
All in all, a very respectable situation for British pool.

They are for straight knockout based on 32 players. But I have been clever and made ones out for 17 players right up to 32 and placed the byes in the appropriate spaces. I was bored!

I've got them in excell.. use them for all my tournaments... goes up to 128 players... does the byes automatically.. even has a registration part and does the draw by pressing a button...

All mine are on excel as well, but to be honest, if I had 128 players on a Monday night, I would quit!
We had 17 last night, but it varies, so I decided to make up individual sheets for the amount of players and slot the byes in, just to save a bit of time at the strart of the draw.
Can you PM me your one so I can have a look?

Richard Brompton, Rob McKenna & Tony Crosby seem to be struggling loads, which really surprises me. No real surprise with the top 4 though. UK pool in good shape on the IPT.

Not sure I'd say Rob is struggling exactly but probably a bit disappointed not to be higher. He's class and I can only see him rising up the rankings next season. Top 32 I'd say. (Riggers - couldn't be bothered to log on!)
