Will there be a dress code for the satellite qualifiers? or will it still remain as wearing what we want?

No dress code for the satellite events.
Please bring a set of Aramiths along if you own them as we cannot supply that many sets ourselves. Thanks.

1. Any Aramith sets will do, TV if poss.
2. The Stockport satellite event clashes with Day 2 of BPPPA Stretford - it's a great chance for those who don't qualify for Day 2 to turn up to the APN event without some big names in the draw!!
The Solihull satellite event clahes with Day 2 of BPPPA Guildford - again a great chance for players to show there ability without some of the big boys around.
We don't go out of our way to clash our events with anyone else, but with more and more pool going on in the UK these days clashes are inevitable. Even some of the UK IPT Tour Card qualifiers clash with the EPT (Stretford for example)
Personally I think its a good thing that there is more choice for players now. Tournament promoters will now have to make sure they lay on a quality event or they will lose players to other organisers....

Well spotted Goon, and for anyone else who may have written the details down yesterday, please note that the Stretford date is now at Stockport - I've just replaced the poster with a new one, and updated the Pro9 calendar to reflect this (as you can see it now mentions Stockport).

The IPT website will be updated a little nearer the time - I think they only go up until the 5th Oct or so....They should also post details of the satellite events.

Most of the guys round here in Stockport where I live never go to the Rileys at Stockport as the tables are so poor and are in a very confined space with very little room between the tables which is why we all use the excellent club at Rileys Stretford run by a manager who loves the game and can't do enough for us maybe if all managers were like that then most clubs would be better.

Rileys Stockport will be receiving an IPT pack so all tables will be recovered etc in time for our events.
