hi all, i've been playing pool for a number of months now and im looking for some regular playing/practise partners.
I like 8 ball, and i also play 9 ball and would like to try straight pool as well. basically, if the game is played with spot and stipe balls I love it!
i live in Somerset in SW England. Does anyone live around here who would be interested or know of anyone?

Thanks

C

i live in Bristol, And so does Jon and Sam...but depending on where in Somerset he lives it's a bit of travelling for regular Practise partner...if you fancy coming up to Bristol (Yate) to play then let me know. Where abouts in Somerset do you live?

Hi there good to hear from you. I actually live in Wells, out near Glastonbury/yeovil way. Its about an hour bus ride (dont drive im sad to say). Not sure how long it takes to get to Yate though.

Would be great to meet up for some practise time. When are you usually free?

I have been playing cue sports for over 20years now, and i have never had a practice partner.....i always practice on my own.

I beleive its better for ironing things out.....although i do have the advatage of using some tournaments as my match practice.

Practising by yourself Dazzler? You won't get anywhere doing that. If you practice you might start winning matches. Good luck to you. ;-)

suppose it all depends on your speed (standard)

without seeing you play its hard to give any drills.

Hey Daz! How goes it?
Lot 2B said for playin' wiv yourself! Lol.

BTW Chalky, gotta be said that I mostly play alone, I only ever practice with Lee.

Defo not gonna travel for a game!

If you meet up with Lee and you want a crowd, tell Lee to let me know!

As for what Dazzler said, I am still tryin' to iron out all these creases!!!!!

Jon.
