Looking at the EPT web site I see Daryl & co have teamed up with some really well known sponsors; predator and Simonis to name a couple, which has to be good for the future of the tour. However, I've never heard of UK Sports Management before and they don't seem to have a web site. I'm just interested to know who are they and what will they be bringing to the EPT?

Riggers, you was speaking to the president of UK Sports Management this weekend in Victoria, he has an extremely keen interest in cue sports. They are a London based company.

Hello Riggers. Thank You for your interest in UK Sports Management Limited. Please allow me the opportunity to introduce myself and UK Sports Management Limited to you and anyone else who have not heard of us thus far. My name is Mark Segal, I have established a number of multi million Dollar internet businesses and have been involved with pool sponsorship and management for a number of years. Though my abilities on the table are limited, I have always had a genuine love for cuesports, especially pool (and the many characters involved with the sport), and with the recent introduction of the IPT and the challenges and incentives involved, I believe that Pool is here to stay and will continue to grow from strength to strength in this country. Through sound management and financial stability, I will do my bit to help make financial security a reality for the many players that are already involved with us and the many players that require finance and will come on board with us in the coming months. I am also excited to be involved with Daryl and The EPT. I have decided to face all of these challenges “head on” and when I was offered the opportunity to be involved with the EPT league, I naturally accepted. Along with Daryl I will do whatever needs to be done to help ensure that EPT is a successful tour and gains the recognition it deserves. I will also continue to seek UK talent and offer the backing to ensure that we establish a substancial UK presence on the IPT tour. I am currently involved with players such as Daryl Peach, Daryl Peach (he deserves a mention twice being the founder of the EPT) , Tony Drago, Imran Majid, Andrew Worthington, and a number of other names will be coming on board shortly. I also have excellent connections within The IPT. Many people in the pool and snooker world know of me and of my ambitions and can count players such as Ronnie O'sullivan as a friend. I am in the fortunate position to be able to invest substantially in UK Sports Management and the people that I am involved with. Though, UK Sports Management Limited as a company is a relatively new setup and we are currently completing our website which will be announced shortly, the people involved are well established and failure is not an option. We are most definitely here to stay and here to grow. Along with Daryl, I hope to welcome you all at our first EPT event in Manchester. God Bless Mark Segal [ This message was edited by: UKSportsManagement on 2006-06-08 04:49 ]

Ahh. After Daryl's post I had a feeling that must be you Mark. Good luck, I'm sure you'll do well with players like that on board.

Thanks Riggers. You're a gentleman and it was a pleasure meeting you in Victoria. If you are available, I do hope we can have a bite together in Manchester. We live in exciting times. Hope we can all share in the success as the game continues to gain popularity and recognition over here. This is long overdue for those players and the many other people that work so hard at this game. God Bless ! [ This message was edited by: UKSportsManagement on 2006-06-06 19:50 ]
