Rileys list these for sale at £175... I sold a second hand set for £100 last year... We sold ex-demo sets at this price earlier this year!
These are brand new, unopened sets. It's only five quid off because our standard price is so low in the first place... Seriously!

you'd be lucky to get a second hand set for as cheap as £75. never mind a new set.

Jeez, you're a hard bunch to keep happy...
Our competitors have bought products from us and relisted them in THEIR shops, and THEY make more profit on them than we do!!!
We've tried to offer real value with everything we've listed... We can't be cheapest for everything all the time, but we're certainly not ripping anyone off.
I'll have a talk with Andy to see if we can shave a little more off for you, because we need to sell all ten sets to free up our investment money (bending over backwards for you here) but don't expect the Earth, just know that we're trying.

Dave
Don't shave anything off it. The price is more than right.
Its the problem with this business, people expect to pay trade prices whilst you go home and eat bread and water. People forget that others need to make a living. People also forget that Dave is running this site for next to NOTHING. He is doing it for the good of the sport and for us. And wow, should they make a fiver or tenner a set, its not retirement style cash people.
Please don't start haggling techniques when the price is so low, some chap offering them from his bedroom at £75 with no overheads at all. Whatever, go buy them then.
Behave folks.

Well said!
It's a good price being offered which is why I'm buying a set now even though I won't need to use them for at least 6 months.
Thanks Dave.

I echo those words as well Si.
I bought 2 sets for our league from the original Pro 9 shop (when Nick was running it) and even then they were £125 per set.
£90 is a steal for such good quality balls.
Dave if I didnt have my own set, I would take one, but I'm sure at that price, you'll shift 'em!

i cannot agree with Mr Dvalli more. i already have a set but these are very cheap and to be honest i think its worth the fiver you want off to give our friends the business and keep the profit within the sport and not with shareholders who couldnt care less.
if you buy something for £70 and sell it for £90 and think you have made £20 profit never ever start a business !!!!

After much deliberation and discussion and even more deliberation, and perhaps a bit of argueing, I have agreed to accept that a reduction of £5 from our listed price for these balls, is not the worlds greatest offer.
However, The Pro Shop is a business and a business decision needs to be made that is good for our customer and which allows us to put our profits back into the shop.
So, anybody who approaches Big Dave or myself at Mickey Flynns this Sunday with cash in their hand can take a set of these balls away for £85.
Riggers will obviously only pay £85. But this offer is now not available in this forum, and only available in person this Sunday. After which the price will revert to £95, which is still very competitive.
