Just a quick introduction. For those of you who are not aware, Pro9.co.uk are proud to announce the arrival of: The Pro Shop. My name is Andy Watts, and I am the The Pro Shop's manager. Some of you may already know me, as I have played some pool in the past and am one of the UK's recently qualified American discipline pool referees. I shall be handling all queries concerning the shop, so please mail me on theproshop@pro9.co.uk for any order queries, product help, or website problems. Darn you for not having more money maddog Thanks to everyone who has made an order (YES... ALREADY?!?!?!)... The response has been marvelous. We'll be adding more stock shortly... Balls, chalk and tools are on the way, along with more cue lines. This is Andy's responsibility, he's a really great guy, and if there's anything you especially want, or if you've managed to find it cheaper somewhere else, let Andy know and we'll beat that price, or order what you want. So all questions go to him, (although I did the product photography) we're hoping to provide great value here, with minimum mark-ups from wholesale prices and making huge savings on shipping by ordering in bulk. We're off mate!!! All the best, Big Dave.

As it says:
***STOP PRESS*** A full range of ball sets and related products will be available soon.
Actually we've been surprised by the number of requests for ball sets, and even one for INDIVIDUAL balls... We're working on getting a very special price.

Mmmmm.... We're measuring the interest to see which items will sell well, and the good news is that it seems that the interest we've received is pretty good... The bad news might be that the prices ARE pretty high, so be prepared to pay top dollar!
The PlayPool range are all high quality cotton products made to the highest standards with Italian designer styling, not some high street knock-off, and subsequently they're not cheap, but they ARE good value, nevertheless, and completely cool... Guaranteed!

Good evening Dave / Andy
A sugestion for you. why not create a feedback page for your shop so that those of us who have already bought from you can leave you some feedback, so that others can see what excellant service your offering?! This might also help you with suppliers?

Hey, that's not not a bad idea - although a bit "eBay-esque"!!! What would you put?

I would say thank you for being honest about the supply, compliment the speed of which the deal was done and assure all that you delivered what ou promised. As for ebay-esque? imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!!!

Isn't ebay feedback all about the seller and whether or not they are a crook? I think what the Pro shop needs is a more amazon-esque function!

I think eBay encourages/trains people to be honest, reliable and efficient sellers.
By "Amazon-esque" you mean product reviews? Yeah, that's a good idea.
