Never going to happen, too many governing bodies, all with fingers in the pie and the tills, promotors not paying players after events. cuesports are light years away

There is only one governing body for pool recognised by the IOC. The WPA.

I've always found pole dancing to be extremely watchable... Don't see that on the list though!

The WPA itself is a member of a world cue sport body (forget the acronym) that has 3 strings:
Snooker, Carom and Pool.
The WPA is not infact affiliated to the IOC directly. it is the body above that is a member..

Found it.. Quoting from the WPA website: "The WPA is also one of the three member organizations of the World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS), representing the billiard disciplines of pool, snooker and carom. The WCBS is the international umbrella organization that is a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC)." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Confederation_of_Billiard_Sports[ This message was edited by: cringing-whinging on 2013-08-09 09:23 ]
