Tonight, Tuesday 24th February 2009, Pro9 will be moving to a new high performance server - you don't need to do anything, you'll still find us here, and we've scheduled it for around midnight GMT to minimise any inconvenience, so you may not even notice it, but for approximately four hours we'll be off-line. Hopefully this will improve the lack-lustre performance we've been experiencing on the Pro9 site for the last week or so. There may be a subtle bit of time-warp effects, but no where near as drastic as last time! As usual, if you have any queries, comments or even criticisms about the performance, or the web site in general, I may or may not be able to fix some things, but either way, I would value your input and I'd love to hear from you, either here, or via email or phone. All the best, Big Dave. ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2009-02-24 09:57 ]

I've never experienced any problems with the site (apart from getting a Query Failed error when logging in despite logging in being successful).

Yeah, that's a standard bug that no one can seem to fix, and there's the private message bug too, where it often looks like no-one will receive your PM. They're perfect examples of stuff that I can't fix, but some of the pictures in The Pro Shop are quite big, and the current server is pretty slow, and obviously it's very important that customers have an enjoyable time when visiting the shop, and manage to get a good look at the product pictures I spent so much time making.
Anything else anyone?

A couple of thiongs would be nice and I'm sure have been mentioned before: 1. Moving the notification of new messages to to the top so you see it as soon as you log-in and don't have to scroll down. 2. Update or replace the player profiles on the left hand side some of which are many years old! 3. Option to use signature when posting a quick reply, currently only have option by clicking on main post reply link.
