I'd love to hear how Chamat feels on not making the Mosconi Team this year. And I want to know more about his pool hall, how much involvement he has in running the place. etc etc...

There is a recent interview of Keith which can be listened to on what they call an "iPodcast" on this website: http://www.TheActionReport.comIf I had to pick a player over in England to be interviewed, one of my favorites is Brian Saleh. He's such a sweetheart, and I really do like his work integrity and demeanor, on and off the table. Also, Raj Hundal really impressed me with his brief interviews on the IPT broadcast shows on TV. His quick wit and English accent was quite refreshing. JAM

Wow, it is amazing what a small world it can be sometimes! Be sure to send Raj my regards. Haven't seen him in recent times, but then again, I haven't been on the tournament trail either. To be quite frank, after the luxurious nice-paying IPT tournaments, going to a regional event where you must play world-beaters AND come in first, second, or third to break even on road expenses, it's like comparing filet mignon to hamburger. I wish Raj Hundal all the best. This is a tough racket. Looking through this website, it seems that there are many fine events on the "other side of the pond." I can't imagine how expensive it is to travel around the world, the per annum expenses of it all. That would be a great question for any interview you conduct of a professional pool player, the ratio of expenses versus income. Sometimes in my area, it is more economical to attend regional weekend events, looking at it from how much you have to expend and how much you take in. Some pool players do it because of pure passion for the game, at least that's what they tell me. Me personally, there ain't no place like home. Living out of a suitcase like a gypsy gets old, but then again, so am I -- getting old, that is! JAM [ This message was edited by: JAM on 2007-07-02 15:02 ]
