hi
question to everyone and big dave as i know ur into ur poker,
just wondering do a lot of pro9'ers play it???
and if poss maybe (i know it wouldprob take alot of organising)
but how about some regional tournies and then depending on numbers, the top 3 etc go thru to a final comp, which could be played at a future pool comp on a sat night for instance
just an idea n be interested what the rest of you think??

Rileys did something similar a while back. I dealt one of the tables and was involved with a little of the organisation. It will probably be hard work organising something like this online. Needs to be a bit more advertised than just here. Dave maybe talk to Rileys about a pool players poker tournament? That way it will get advertised pretty well.

One way forward would be to use a poker site online. Most big poker sites let you host your own competition, where you would need to know the password set to take your seat. A lot of companies have them. You can even set them to only play down to a final table, so that it can be played live etc etc. That would only be worth while if there was a decent prize fund though!

I'll be up for that, online, face to face, whatever as long as I could afford to enter!

if theres ways of doing it online that would be cool, but the final could be done somewhere??
just thinking it helps promote pro 9 at the same time

I love the idea! If we get some feedback as to numbers I'll look into it. Anyone else up for it? ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor

Are you allowed to drink alcohol at the GB9 poker tournaments?

What do you reckon, is this enough interest to make it a go or not? Seems pretty slack to me... Although if it were combined with an event somewhere it might pick up a few more runners!
