Bring on the Pool! This is the thread for everything WPC 2007 which starts tomorrow (for anyone living on Mars). I have just published my thoughts on the Championship, so what do all you guys and gals (not forgotten you Shir) think on who could win? Who are your top 3 main contenders and top 3 dark horses? ----------------- Chris @ Pro9

Cant WAIT for the action to start. I just hope, like us all I imagine, that the Europeans do better this year. Perhaps time differences, jet lag, etc put our guys of last year. Ive had a small each way bet on Nick van ben Berg. Just wanted a bit of value, and wanted a euorpean. Should make the last 64 no problem and from there...hey, who knows. Dazza

What a way to start the event off tomorrow morning. Efren Reyes first up followed by Tony Drago. Mouth watering stuff. Unfortunately it appears that none of the British boys are going to be televised for the group stage as none appear to be playing on table 1 with the exception of John Wims of Ire who could be on table 1 if he wins his first game. Bring it on.

Efren's first match will start at around 3am our time, the first match we will see on Sky tomorrow morning will probably be match number 5 or 6 live (although they might show a replay of Efren's match).

Can't wait for this years event, really looking to see Shane van Boening play and later this year live in the flesh at Mosconi. Had a small wager on Reyes / Bustamante to win win some more cash e/w on Shane, so hopefully I'll be in the cash

Just a note if you do want to watch it live (as Sky are just showing highlights), you will need Sopcast as TVUPlayer doesn't have the requirements. The link is on the right hand menu, and the live times are shown below:- Day One - 3-30am to 7am and 7-30am to 11am Day Two - 2-30am to 6am and 6-30am to 10am Day Three - 7-30am to 11am and 1pm to 4-30pm Day Four - 7-30am to 11am and 1pm to 4-30pm Day Five - 7-30am to 11am and 1pm to 4-30pm Day Six - 7-30am to 11am and 1pm to 4-30pm Day Seven - 7-30am to 11am and 1pm to 4-30pm Day Eight - 2-30am to 6am and 6-30am to 10am Day Nine - 6-30am to 10am ----------------- Chris @ Pro9[ This message was edited by: Buckster_uk on 2007-11-03 10:26 ]

If Ozzy does beat him then he'll have beaten the 2005 champion. How great a feeling will that be.
