How rigorously is the shots being called rule enforced on GB9 (10-ball event in Blackpool)? Don't see much evidence on live stream but might just be me.

Class.... The whole thing was just class. Can't believe we don't have runners on this tour??
Where are you pool players?? 8 ball?? 9 ball?? Snooker?? It doesn't matter, you should all be trying your luck on this your because we have more fun and laughs than any other cue sport, without a doubt!!
Best playing conditions, best coverage, great organisation and referees, and some of the best players on the planet...

GB9 brilliant!

The total cost of playing an event for me in 2010 was £300. However, the entry fee has been lowered and you could take away some of that cost if you were local to the venue. I'd say that £250 an event would be a good estimate.

It's a great tour though and I personally let myself down by not going to the recent Blackpool GB9. I gave myself the ultimatum that I'd either qualify from our local event or not appear at all! I'll be there next year on crutches if necessary!

:)

82 hotel, 90 entry, plus food and drink so around £250, but not many play pool for money in UK !!
Prize money is detailed here
http://www.gb9balltour.com/prize-money

enjoy the setup and the hotel and playing conditions which are second to none.

A top amateur player needs a 1/4 final in both the Main and Challenge to have any chance of a profit. It's a tough task but this is why the cue sports are just a hobby to 99.99% of us! If people are interested in money and money alone they need to start a business, get a job or gamble at the table!

I asked how much of a spend it was that's all, to consider whether I can justify telling wifey that I'm about to spend £250 on a weekend away. I have a business and enjoy a gamble, but thanks for the advice!
