Hats off to you Tony for setting this up. I noticed some flyers about this when I was in my local Rileys the other night.
I think it will be a great success, and can only be good for the grass roots of the game.
Unfortunately due to my job (month on, month off), I cannot play weekly, or I would sign up in a heartbeat.
I will post this information to the local pool and snooker sites for Aberdeen.
All the best Brian Craig.

Wishing you all the best with this Tony.
A grass roots structure for American pool. Team play will be great fun. Let's hope the players get behind it.
Good luck mate.

wow, im stunned!! after only a few hours of the site being up and running we have enquiries for membership from Oxford Bournemouth Liverpool Brighton Aberdeen Nottingham London (several times over!) Guilford Leicester Stafford Chorlton and more arrive by the hour. But whats more impressive is out of all those that have enquired i knew only one person - which is brilliant!!. This means the message is getting out to the masses, not just our usual click. Awesome, i have a fantastic team behind me and rock solid sponsors. I'm relly looking forward to running the GB9 Leagues. Lets get it on! Big Tone

It is a really important time for British 9-ball at the moment, many of the stars of the English pool game are either completely moving to 9-ball as it has more future or are at least dipping their toes to see what it is like and how they fair.
Off the back of this I think we will see new impetus for players at grassroots level to try something different that doesn't revolve around a 7ft pool table in a pub.
GB9 Leagues has the potential to be massive, not only as a league structure in it's own right but also as a place to develop our future stars.
It is also important with the recent announcements about the GB9 Tour all of which fits perfectly with the new system.
Good luck to everyone and I may even try and dust off my cue.

this is a great idea and just what grass roots american pool needs in the UK. The top tier of the game seems to be in a good place and now by laying the foundations for the casual/intermediate players, you're establishing a great future for the game over here.
Its ideal for someone like myself who sadly through various commitments missed the boat on the GB9 tour and can't devote enough time to get to that standard anymore but i'm sure i can find enough time for this.
Well done guys

Due to an overwhelming response, i am gonna have to delay posting the guidelines as posted earlier until tomorrow.
lets just say this. if everyone joins who has enquired this is gonna be one monster national pool league.
i will be looking to bring someone in tomorrow to help with the workload, so please just bear with me.
Big Tone....... cant wait!
