well why come on here spouting then ?? you could have been more professinal and send a pm or an email rather come on here and express your dissapointment and lack of enthusiasam.
were all forgetting how much this will bring the grass route players on and are also forgetting how mutch time, effort and mmoney this as taken to get off the ground.
obviously there are going to be teething problems, its only been up and running for a few months ffs
hat off to you tone credit where credits due ignore the negitivness of certain partys, this venture is massive for uk pool and in a year or 2s time people will look back to how it all started and they will see your name at the foot of it !!!

i dont think its out of order 1 bit. tell me what good is announcing your dissapointment on a public forum going to do for the venture........... non whats so ever if anything it will put off people who who are thinking of joining
if your on gb9 and say anything about the tour , the venues, the orgenisers etc on a forum where potential sponsers can read you face dissaplinery action and could get booted off.

Phil,
I have spoken with Howard Miller, National Snooker and Pool Manager for Rileys and he was livid at the thought this was happening. Rileys are 100% committed to the development of GB9 Leagues. Wavertree's league night will be a Wednesday
Howard has just returned from Holiday today so is still playing catch up, but will confirm with all clubs over the next couple of days as to where they are with their league.
I will email you tomorrow in private to resolve all matters.
As for my statement, i will hold on this till tomorrow, to allow Howard some time to get feedback from his managers.

Hi phil, a lesson learnt there. i have to say i've seen the correspondence and efforts that John has put into the leagues and from what im told he could'nt of done much more. As with all clubs until Friday last week it was difficult for the managers to see whom was interested at club level, as it just isn't feasible to keep 100+ clubs updated daily with memberships. However they are all aware of their members who wish to play now, and hopefully new members will continue to join the leagues as it progresses. I will only be posting updates to members as of now, and there will be several updates before the weekend is out. These will include fixture lists and details of the discount card (Rileys) and t shirt confirmations. I'd like to thank you all for your interest in the GB9 Leagues. i appreciate we're running a little behind schedule and in a different format, however i would just like you all to know, i am 100% committed to making a difference for the grass roots level of the pool scene in the UK. no matter what challenges we are presented with. If you would still like to join (at any stage) feel free to use our website to register or visit your local club for more details. Thank You Big Tone www.gb9leagues.com or e: bigtone@gb9leagues.info

I can only relay what has been said to me this past Friday night at the end of the day and he advised me to look into playing from Liverpool Grand Central as they did not have enough interest at Wavertree (to his knowledge). hi the muse further to our converstion friday evening you failed to mention the number of emails passed between myself and you regarding this tournament. i dont aprreciate you coming on this site and slateing rileys wavertree with regards to the tournament if you want to discuss this matter in private ring me at the club. thanks eveyone for your support on this matter

Tony,
I sent you two e-mails requesting a refund of the £34.95 I trusted in the GB9 Leagues. I've lost patience and won't be bothering now, but where are my replies?
Unique,
Whats funny is the GB9 Leagues in general!

Phil lets gets something straight.
you whined at the manager of your club cus he wouldnt give you free play - "now that im on the tour"
you send me a whiny text about people picking on you on pro9?
and tell me how your going to practise with your "aramiths on a snooker table"
Grow up.
incidently you asked for a refund after 10pm last night and i am in the process of updating our records as we speak (hence a refund will be with you within the 24 hrs as i previously stated).
Organisining this league is hard enough without people putting negative comments on a public forum cus there looking for sympathy.
