i'll tell you what, after watching the world cup of pool on sky, this champion of champions tournament is like watching paint dry... It's about time the bbc and itv gave a little air time to 9 ball i reckon. Anyone else think it's time for a change? Does Matchroom get any of their output broadcast on terrestrial channels? Fishing, boxing, tenpin maybe? [ This message was edited by: ct on 2014-11-03 19:23 ]

ok come on it can'tl just be me thinking this... What someone else mention the fact that there are only 3 rows in the audience and it's still empty... Or is this because it's just the early round and there's no ronnie o"sullivan yet? [ This message was edited by: ct on 2014-11-04 08:52 ]

agreed. 9 ball produced well with the right format, players etc is far more exciting than snooker most of time imo.
I think pool definitely needs shot clocks which matchroom events have but I also think slower cloths and decent sized pockets in order to encourage aggressive play with big strokes needed to move the white is what the mass audience would buy into.
Oh and winner breaks.

This looks like it's picking up a bit now, with the arrival of Ronnie.
