Just a quick question.
How do players get picked for the Premier League Snooker?
What about wildcards?

Just for you, I asked this question to "someone in the know" and here's the response I received... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'This is an independent event and so Matchroom ultimately choose the players, it's not based on rankings.
For 2010, each entrant is a current title holder, can YOU allocate the titles?!'--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hmmm... Well Pro9'ers, who can list them? ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-11-29 11:10 ]

I would add a wildcard player to round it off to 8. Then each venue would have 4 matches per stop. Luca Brecel, That Ladies WC? Mix it up a tiny bit. Oh, and bring the Wales event to the South

Ahh, so that's how Fu got in! Should be good to have it based on rankings but then at least this way we get champions playing. Do they do anything like this for pool? A champions event would be good. In fact this would be good for GB9. All the champions of the main, pro and challenge cups for that season playing in a seperate tournament at the end. Although, that wouldn't have worked in the first season as it would be Imran on his own lol! [ This message was edited by: MachineGun on 2010-11-29 14:41 ]
