The Snooker Legends Tour came to Redhill, Surrey tonight and Jimmy White gave us all something to remember! He knocked in an amazing 147 against Cliff Thorburn and then almost hit another against John Parrot, breaking down on the final pink for a 134!!!!!! Oh, and well done to the Redhill Snooker Champ a certain James Welch on his doubles display with Dennis Taylor against Cliff Thorburn and a lucky raffle prize winner! Amazing night of Snookerino!!!! ----------------- Chris @ Pro9[ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2010-05-25 08:05 ]

No was part of their roadshow tour they are doing.
Best 147 I have seen, all throughout it people were getting up from their seats and walking out plus John Virgo was constantly on the mic talking about the shots which couldn't have helped his concentration lol!
The last brown and black were absolutely amazing though - I know it was just an exhibition but it was as good as anything I have ever seen on a snooker table, just fantastic.

Surely the main headline is James Welsh mixing it with the big boys!! Hope you enjoyed the experience mate.

Jimmy was awesome but James "Flash" Welch held his nerve well and did an admirable job partnering Dennis Taylor. Team Lester were well proud!

I spoke to Jimmy this morning and he is still buzzing! Understandably so, it's a regular thing for him in practise but doesn't happen happen so much in front of an audience. He is and always will be a legend and I'm lucky and proud to call him one of my mates.
Go on the Wind!!!!

A curious looking envelope is on the door mat this morning... It's just a plain manila brown colour, but on the front my name and address are written confidently in red biro. It's intriguing because it's larger than a bill, and there's no indication as to who it's from, no return address, no identifying branding, just a franked 1st class Royal Mail stamp. I notice there's something firm inside, and hastily rip it open from one end, like a child opening a Christmas present. Inside the intrigue continues... A white label CD, nothing written on it, and no cover note - now I'm really puzzled! When I get back to my desk I slap the disk into my laptop... It contains some photos that a friend had said he send, and I'd forgotten about it, nothing too exciting really. Except that it included THIS video too... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRmMcw8h3I0Quality!!!
