The "other" game is having a nice run on BBC right now with the final of the UK Championship... I know you are all watching that on the TV whilst reading this on your computers... Is Ding going to have it? [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2009-12-15 11:41 ]

If this goes hill-hill it won't be half as thrilling as the Mosconi... Even Ronnie's come-back from 8-2 behind to get on the hill wasn't as brilliant as the Mosconi.
Still, it's all good!

I have been playing and watching snooker for 20 yrs +......this final didn't interest me one bit ! two of the most boring players ever to grace the Baize ! ........watched every rack of the Mosconi Cup though couldn't take my eyes of it !.......snooker is totally stale now - imagine what would have happened if someone reacted like Hatch did in the snooker there would be an outcry ! .........."Replace snooker with 9 Ball" !!! Barry Hearn !

I have got to say I enjoyed watching the Ronnie v Higgins Semi more than the Mosconi; just one of those matches that comes along every few years which you cannot take your eyes off of.

agree within reason, snooker is the toughest game in the world to master but it doesn,t look good on tv. as soon as ronnie goes the game will die. best thing snooker did was get rrid of rodney walker he was chairman of leicester and put them into admin and then he was voted yorkshire man of the year last year where 10 companies vote. guess what he was the boss of 8 of them lol lol. As for Barry Hearn i met him a few times and what he knows about promotion and making a sport work is 2nd to none the guy is different class at was he does and so are his staff, luke, sharon and all the others involved. i played in 3 world championships in cardiff and they were run perfect.. as far as i,m concerned if Barry gets involved with pool the way he got involved with darts then im sure the players wi have a great future... i honestly cant say that 4 snooker.
