There's good news and there's bad news... The good news is that they have updated the Fantasy Snooker League results much more promptly this time. The bad news is that I've actually increased my lead at the top of the table, and it's going to take a super-human effort by someone to overtake me with only one event of the season remaining, and all this despite me ditching Ronnie from my team. For the worlds I'm gonna say Ronnie. But i think MJ Williams could be a good outsider. And now that Ebdon has won again he could be a good outside bet. It's gonna be an open event with possibly 5 or 6 possible winners.

Interesting what Ronnie says about it here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0qm8M6lxPgSo it's a two horse race, if... And it's a big " IF" O'Sullivan and Higgins play like they can! I've thought all season that Ronnie wasn't in the right frame of mind to win big, his temperament seems perfect, he was in really good humour when he missed some shots in China, but seemed to lack the single-minded determination needed to win, but is it possible that he'll be inspired by the title to win the biggest event of the season? You've got to respect his opinion, so at this point my heart says Ronnie, but my head says Higgins! [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2009-04-09 09:51 ]

I think higgins is the man this year. I'd like to see Martin Gould do well, he's a good mate of mine and used to be my practice partner.

Gould is in my team Higgins isn't though, although I'm torn between him and Ronnie for my category A player.

Cracking interview with Jimmy White here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXT-j_a6ZZ0Here's my selection for the WSC Mini-League... Unfortunately some players meet each other very early, but there's not much to be done about that! Good luck if you're playing... When do points get updated on the fantasy snooker website? after each round or after the whole competition?

A few days AFTER the entire event... Their track record on the reliability/promptness side of things has been nothing short of shocking.
It's still been fun though, but it could have been much more fun if they were a bit faster on the updates!
I hate it when people win their own competitions, but I was so confident that I would be trash at this that I allowed myself to have a bit of fun!
