Hi Gents,
I have a friend from Norway, or Sweden, or possibly even Finland... I'm not 100% sure, not a really close friend, but a nice guy, and he has said that he has always wanted to watch the World Snooker Championships and he'd like to know how to go about it - can anyone help me with some details because I haven't got the faintest idea?
If you've got any links or tips please share and I'll pass them on to him.
Thanks. BDK.

That's a pretty good start! Cheers Paddy, I'll chat with you on IM sometime and we'll work something out if it comes off... He's a really nice bloke and "one of us" big ball players so it'll be nice to sort him out. Has anyone been to Sheffield? What's it like? Is there anything else to do there? Where should he stay? Oooh nice! OK, the next question is price... He's looking at staying for the second week, so he'll need tickets for the important matches including the final of course... Can anyone tell me a ball park figure because I don't have a clue. Thanks again. And how much was that hotel Paddy? [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2008-11-11 07:14 ]

Big Dave, tickets for the finachange every year, I went to the third session of the final in 2003 and it was 30 quid, tickets for early rounds are quite cheap!

hi dave
for final tickets you normally have to register in advance, the regestration starts in january
i went with my bro this year and watched the 2nd round match between ebdon and king, we just rang the ticket line and booked them over the phone
they cost £9.50 each for a 2nd round session, i remember chatting someone there who had got tickets for ronnies quarter final and he said they cost £15.
just checked the ticket page on the world snooker website but its down at the mo!!
hope that helps
