Well over 30 players now, but we can always do with a few more!
I have to admit to being fairly confused with how this all works, but fortunately as admin all I have to do is click "accept" when new players sign up, so no worries there then!
Our individual teams already appear to be accruing points - so when the page updates we'll be able to see how the teams compare.

Well, I'm very disappointed in you lot... We are NOWHERE in the official "League of Leagues"... http://www.snooker.manager.eurosport.co.uk/league.aspx?page=ofLeaguesI mean, for goodness sake's we KNOW half of the players here. we play alongside them... Even MY team, chosen exclusively from players who have or might play pool, have racked up 106 points! All we need is the top five teams in the Pro9 MiniLeague to do reasonably well to show in the League of Leagues rankings, but no!!! Somehow, we're not even on it! Why hasn't our league updated?
It shows that I have points but it says 0 on our mini league..

Sort of... They haven't provided an updating service yet, I think they're making it up as they go along, although they already run a bajillion other Fantasy Leagues. To update the page on Pro9 I will currently have to cut the code from the Fantasy Snooker web site - it won't automatically update here unfortunately.. And during a tournament the results will change every time a match finishes. It would be nice if they could tweak that wouldn't it? I'll send them a message, but they've not replied before! Hi Pro9 Mini-League players! Welcome to the weekly email (yeah right, we'll see how long that lasts!!!) The news is that there is GOOD NEWS and there is BAD NEWS... Let's have the BAD NEWS first shall we? The bad news is that the company that runs the Mini-League are pretty slow responding to my queries concerning the lack of updating statistics on the embedded page at Pro9, and they've even removed the functionality at the admin page, so don't expect it to resume at any time soon. I guess the reason for this is that the purpose of the game is to drive traffic to the host "Yahoo/EuroSport" website, and having the stats embedded at Pro9 defeats the objective! Ho hum! Oh well, just remember you'll need to visit the Yahoo/EuroSport site to view the very latest stats! No problemo eh? Well yes actually... Because the bottom half of our league has apparently disappeared there!!! I know... Weird eh? We used to be able to see ALL 40-odd teams entered in the Pro9 Mini-League, but now only the top 20 teams are displayed at the official site! Hey, maybe it's to spare our "blushes" but how are you going to know if you are improving if you can't see your relative rankings? Well... Watch this space for updates! OK... That's enough of the bad news... Lets have the... GOOD NEWS!!! OK, the good news is that our very own Chris Buckmaster is 29th IN THE WORLD!!! YES... 29TH IN THE WORLD FOLKS... And in with a pretty decent chance of scooping the Flat Screen TV that Yahoo/EuroSport are offering!!! Well done Chris, keep it up and we're laughing! The other good news is that the company that runs the League Software is in Brighton, only 60 miles from where I live, so it will be pretty easy for me to visit and give them an ear-bashing! Woohooo!!! Right... A quick note to the rest of you who are under-performing... As Anne Robinson would say... "Ditch the dead-wood, and lose the losers", get Sullivan, get Walden, and get the Pro9 Mini-League into the top twenty "League of Leagues" table. Good luck, and good managing! All the best, BDK. p.s.
