I had 6 goldens from 9 breaks against Adam Clarke in a tournament at Stretford 2 years ago....and 2 of the other 3 got blocked from going in the same corner pocket!

He checked the rack every time cos he racked em!

No idea why this happened :-?

Oh....he had 2 also!.....score was 9-2 in about 20 minutes!

The most I seen in one night's competition play, was one guy had no fewer than 10.
When you look at how much racks he played ( 3 x race to 3 group matches and 2 x knockout race to 4 matches), it was some feat!

I guess they are just freak stat's, like dazzler's above, but it show's they do happen!

I had 5 golden breaks in a row once. But I gues putting the 1 and 9 ball pointing to the corner pocket doesn't count - you have to rack the other 7 balls too :-(

Yep, Andy 'Who ate all the pies' Battams sunk 5 Goldens on me in a race to 9 for £100 about 5/6 years ago. Strong lesson learned that day, I will tell you! Not that I am saying he did anything to the rack, but I sure in heck should have racked for him....after the first one!!!!!!!
