Florida Pro Tour
Corey Deul has won the first event of the season and the top prize of 5k. Corey Beat Dave Broxson in the final. Rob Saez took 3rd, Adam Wheeler 4th and my self and Mike destafano took joint 5th.
This was the hardest Florida pro tour event I have ever played in. I finished my last winners side match at 5am in the morning and considering I drove there on the day leaving my house at 8 am I had been up for almost 24 hours. I am very pleased with my performance on the weekend beating Stevie Moore, Paul Song, Trevor Braymore then I took my first loss to Mike Destafano who played very well all weekend. I then went on to beat luis Viera, Mike Dechaine and I then lost a hill hill heart breaker to rob Saez 8-7.
Some of the players didnt get there one loss side matches done with till 10 am sunday morning and the one loss match players had to start at 11 so a very hard weekend.

There was only 9 tables with 93 players, The tournament directors did all they could to speed things up, but it was just impossible to move it any quicker.
The rankings will be up in a couple of days.
The next Florida Pro tour event is going to be at my home room Strokers in Palm harbor. The day before it kicks off I will be playing a challenge match against Chavez the highly rated Mexican player.
