I have just heard that Ossie has qualified for the massive Grand Masters tourny at Mickey Flynns starting tomorrow ermmmm now today! He is currently driving back to Ipswich to then turn around and go back for 11am (currently its 3.54am!) Can I be the first to congratulate this young man, he is a superb guy to know and I am very proud of what he has achieved so far in 2007. Remember Aim Higher Oz! Good luck to everyone in this ultra strong field......the cream of Europe all in East Anglia how cool is that? Go Ossie go!

Craig had a tough time in his 11.30am match but was happy to have had a crack at the cherry anyway.

thats right Dave, although fatigue did play a part especially after the first 3 hours, after that the concentration really started to dip.
i needed to win that first set against Karl and had my chance to win it 8-5 but i missed and he played well to run out the set from there,
fair play to him and i hope he does well
Man, this format is the toughest there is! each match your in has the potential to last for 5-6 hours, maybe 9 ball? but 8 ball really takes it out of you mentally and physically because of the patterns - you have to be so focussed.
What a tournement - the winner of this will have done a few miles round the tables by the time its finished!
cheers for the post Phil.
