Interesting to note that in 1997 the European Championships were held in Stavanger, Norway.
Ralf Souquet cleaned up winning the following medals:

What a great team! (I won't be phoning the mobile though... I have SkypeOut which means I can call pretty much any landline in the world for about a penny a minute... But mobiles cost too much when you chat as much as I do).

Sorry Dave, I didnt take my camera. Very nice club. 7 brunswick gold crowns & 2 full size snooker tables. Well worth the 10 min walk in the pouring rain for... As for you JNH...no I didnt pack my cue, just that Mrs Bruno wanted a game, so I couldnt really say no could I? HYGF PS HI JIM ITS MRS BRUNO HERE! FIT CAN I SAY GOT TO KEEP THE OLD MAN HAPPY!!!!!!

Dave, I went back to the club tonight, so I took my camera this time. I'll send you the pics when I get home.
