Seriously Si, easyjet fly from Stansted and British Airways from Gatwick, but also checkout KLM website but you will have to go via Amsterdam but doing that is ok I have been with KLM a few times that way with no problem and short waiting times, although Mr Peach may not agree on the latter

By the way the airport is called Naples.

another one to try is
kayak.co.uk
its a portal and pretty good, i find you need to try everyday as flight prices change daily. at the moment its lufthansa for £125, easyjet is £180 ish, it arrives naples on 11th at 12.40pm so time to get to the venue. another one worth trying is to rome, its cheaper but i dont know how to get to naples from there, still 125 is pretty good, i advise not to leave it too long as these deals go pretty quick.

no probs, i do a lot of flying so i have to find the best prices.
another one is
moneysavingexpert.com
look for travel & transport and use the flight checker, it deals with euopean flights, easyjet, ryanair etc, thing is with with italian open rooms are 100 euro for single room per night so add the entry fee and flight if you stay from 11th till 15, 400 for room say 150 flight and 130/50 entry so 700ish euro, not cheap for possibly only 2 matches.

Fair point.

I've found a flight for £120 from Manchester to Rome. Internal train from Rome to Naples is about £20, then triple room is £35 a night for 4 nights. Entry, £100. All in approx £380 + spend, getting expensive...

Thanks again for your help.

Theres a decent chance a British footy team might be playing in Milan on the Tuesday night in the last 8 of the Champions league. If so could fly to Milan for game and get train down to naples about 6 hrs on wednesday ;)

Sorry simon, i was quoting single room, anyway, if anyone reads this and is going to naples they need to think about booking early, like in the next week or so as this is not a frequently used airport as rome which has loads or flights.
today i found,
lhr-nap lufthansa 7.25am arrive 12.40, leave 11th return 15, £125 with cheaptickets

bhx-nap lufthansa 6.50am arrive 12.40 same dates £147 with cheaptickets 148 with orbitz

man-nap lufthansa 6.55 arrive 12.40 same dates £145 cheaptickets

i think that covers north midlands and south, according to thier websites neith ryanair or easyjet fly to naples, you need to take into account if you go to rome the train cost, time and agro to get from rome to the venue, i never done it so i dont really know, i would assume the hotel will organise transport from naples airport to venue.
Good luck :-P
