Mr Boyes won it 11-6 in final against Kev Uzzell. Buzzin Boyzi beat me in the semi 9-6 and Kev beat Imran Majid 9-3 in other semi. Quarters Mathers, Parker, West, Ainsworth-Smith very weel ran event....very smooth. Only problem is the tapped balls so very soft breaks are the be all and end all now, its spoiling the game of 9ball. 3 balls past the balk line might help a little bit...like they have on the EPBF eurotour. Well done to Boyes and Uzzell......defo the 2 players playing the best pool overall this weekend! -----------------

I hope everybody enjoyed their weekend in Manchester..
I would appreciate any feedback/comments/questions or complaints to be mailed to me...
But anyways! Thanks to everybody for coming and see you in 3 weeks again...

would like to say from a first timer's point of view that i thoroughly enjoyed the tournament despite a massive panic attack just as i started my first match against carl morris!!!! still, didn't disgrace myself too badly and hopefully will now be at every future tournament to gain as much experience as possible. everyone i spoke to was very nice and provided me with some sound advice. thanks everyone and see you at the next 1.

Big up to Shir who performed an amazing job at the tournament desk. The whole thing ran like clockwork!

Agree Daryl, so too did the majority of players I spoke with on the Sunday and at last weeks eurotour. I will suggest that it's brought up for discussion at the next players council meeting. Sy..

yes but wont that give an unfair disadvantage to junior or women entries in tournaments as they are generally less capable of high velocity breakage?

not that much force is required to bring 3 balls past the balk line that it would effect women/junior players.
it would just stop people from being able to legally soft break.
