Can someone tell me how many players get European Champs spots and how are they assigned? i.e. would I have a pop at a slot from Eurotour Ranking?

No Jonni, you have to be nominated from your country association or something like that. Bpppa had 5 spots, they offered em to top 3 players on rankings and 1 to Matt Lawrenson (junior champ) and one to Martin Chapman (senior champ) Mark Gray and myself opted not to take part at all as bpppa offered zero subsidy! (as they said that they are using ALL the membership fees for this british open) so it would have cost each player around £1k!!!......with no prize monies up for grabs!!!.....its just too expensive.
