I think SVB & Dechaine need to step up this year. I still think Europe will win but by a closer margin. I'm going with 11-6.

So, what did you think of Day One's performance then?
Did you enjoy the coverage?
Was there anything you didn't like?
Do you still think those scores you posted previously are still good?
Who do you think will be MVP this year?
What do you think of the new larger Alexandra Palace venue?

I went to the venue yesterday - pleased to see plenty of faces I recognised... In particular, there were plenty of the BWPPA wheelchair players - especially supporting their tour's generous patron Darren Appleton, as well as the rest of the team. WOW... The venue is something else - I'd be happy to see it stay there for a while... And the press room is WARM too... Much better than the draughty old York Hall. If only we could do something about the weather. It's terrifying how strong the European team are... Is it time we set up a similar tournament with the Philippines do you think? ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor

Chamat: "This right here, is the best team in the world. We know you are watching in China. We know you are watching in the Philippines. We will get on a plane and come over" - Then Barry Hearn says plans are in the pipeline for Europe vs Asia...
Best ending to the Mosconi we could have gotten, I love the event, but Europe are now too good and will be for years to come. Putting us in a Mosconi style vs Team Asia will be brilliant.
Looks like we will be getting that reality very soon. Thoughts?

Dazza: fully agree mate. America won't give us a game unless the Mosconi is played on bar boxes, and that ain't happening any time soon. Well done to Team Europe. Especially Mark Gray who I thought played brilliantly. Roll on next year for the Efren Reyes Cup.
