Teach

i have to say - i am deeply disappointed that i have been "Banned" from the APN leagues because i was in the WPC 2005 and am classed as a "Professional".
I work full time and very hard i may add just like alot of the players that have qualified in the past.
I feel my situation is different for that reason - there is no way i consider myself a professional - i play in less than 10 competitions Every year? BECAUSE I HAVE TO WORK!

i could sit here and rave about why i should and shouldnt be aloud to play but i dont think its going to get me anywhere?

i am just absoloutley gutted that i cant play - i dont feel the reasons given are satisfactory either.

I love pool, which is why i practice so i can get better and try to compete against the best i can (IN MY SPARE TIME) because it is a HOBBY which i enjoy.

anyway

Rant over

BACK TO WORK!

Is this another example of the APN not wanting the better players in the league?????????????????

Shir, as far as I can make out from APN's explanation on banned players, it applies to anyone who has qualified for any WPC at 9 ball, or any IPT event.
Like Craig says, he qualified in 2005, but as he works full time, cant be classed as professional.

Craig, I sympathise with you....I guess thats the price you pay for being so good!

:-D

The Pro v Ama debate is a huge one. We had to make some kinf of decision on who to allow and who not to allow. We are trying to grow the sport from the bottom and do not want relative novices being put off because the same players always win.

If anyone has any constructive ways to get around this debate then I am all ears

Ossie I have pm'd you
